There are various types of ceramic balls that are different in shape and compound and can classify them in two total groups

•  Natural balls

•  Artificial balls

Natural balls are more known in names of sylexy , felnity, or river that they are not applied very much in ceramic industry because of their high friction and pollution and low operation.

Artificial & produced balls because of having order geometrical figures (spherical, cylindrical, oval) and equal & stable compound, they consist of extra higher advantages than natural balls.

Statit is one frame of magnesium silicate that obtains from other china clay soil, Talc powder and chemical compounds. This material is considered more commonly because of its physical properties such as its density and friction resistance and high hardness.

Preparation unit of Initial material is one of the important and elementary section of all ceramic industry factories that is responsible to break the initial materials and provide the particles with determined dimensions and proper grain arrangement to produce the products and homogeny grout with equal properties.

Breaking and friction performs in ball mills by rotating movement of ceramic balls and pressing materials through itself. The ball mills rotating cause the ceramic balls raise to determined high and then they fall on the materials and stones; therefore balls hit and press on materials and break them so they assist to provide grout and proper arranged particles.
